August 22, 1997 - Rammstein and Du Hast

Three days after my last release a new band briefly joins my library when Rammstein released their second album "Sehnsucht" on August 22, 1997. But who is Rammstein? They are a six-piece industrial metal band from Berlin, Germany consisting of Till Lindemann (lead vocals), Richard Kruspe (lead guitar), Paul Landers (rhythm guitar), Oliver Riedel (bass), Christian Lorenz (keyboards) and Christoph Schneider (drums). Rammstein sing entirely in German, and while I'm definitely not a fan of theirs, they do have one song that I like, the succesful single "Du Hast". It's got a pretty catchy main riff played on some heavy guitars and there's some coop keyboards as well that make for a nice jam. The German vocals aren't my favourite, I just don't think he's that great a singer, but it's still a decent single and undeniably pretty catchy.
