March 12, 1996 - Bad Hair Day and Amish Paradise

A couple months into the year and two and a half years since "Alapalooza", "Weird Al" Yankovic released his ninth album "Bad Hair Day" on March 12, 1996. I only have one song off this album, the wildly succesful parody of Coolio's "Gangsta's Paradise", titled "Amish Paradise". It's got some organ leading the way just like on the original, but Weird Al's version is all about the ups and downs of the Amish lifestyle and of course has some amusing lyricis such as "churned butter once or twice livin' in an amish paradise". He has lots of funny lines in this one and it's hard not to sing along to the chorus. A very well done parody!
